Cookie statement

This cookie statement explains whether our website uses cookies or similar techniques. In short: we do not set cookies and we do not track you.

This is an English translation for people living in the Netherlands. The Dutch text is legally binding. If the Dutch and English versions differ, the Dutch text prevails.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files that a website can store on your computer, tablet or phone. Similar techniques also read or store information on your device. The Dutch Telecommunications Act (Telecommunicatiewet, Article 11.7a) sets out when this is allowed. Broadly speaking, there are three types:

  • Functional cookies: needed to make the website work, for example to remember a language choice. No consent is required for these.
  • Analytical cookies: to measure visits. If they have little or no impact on your privacy, no consent is required. Otherwise, consent is required.
  • Tracking and advertising cookies: to follow you across websites or show advertising. These always require your prior consent.

2. Which cookies does this website use?

None. Our website does not set functional, analytical, tracking or advertising cookies, and does not store information about you on your device in any other way. That is why we do not ask for your consent and you do not see a cookie banner.

The quote and contact form does not store anything. It only prepares a message for you and opens WhatsApp or your own e-mail program.

3. The map of our service area

The website shows a map of the area in which we work. The map images are loaded from the OpenFreeMap servers (tiles.openfreemap.org), using map data from OpenStreetMap. In the process, that server receives your IP address, because this is technically necessary to send the images to you. OpenFreeMap does not set cookies. Your browser may temporarily keep map images in its cache so that the map loads faster. These are only map images, not data about you. You can read more about this in our privacy statement.

4. WhatsApp, e-mail and other links

If you click a WhatsApp button, an e-mail address or a link to another website (such as Google Maps), you leave our website. Those services may set their own cookies. We have no influence over this. Please read the cookie and privacy policy of that service.

5. Statistics

We do not currently measure visits to our website. If we start doing so in the future, we will state here which service we use, which cookies or similar techniques it involves, what happens with the data and how long it is kept. We will then preferably choose a method that affects your privacy as little as possible. If a technique requires your consent, we will ask for it first.

6. Managing cookies yourself

In your browser settings you can view, block and delete cookies from all websites. This does not affect your use of our website, because we do not use cookies.

7. Changes and questions

If something changes on our website so that this statement is no longer accurate, we will update the text. The date at the top shows when this last happened. Questions? E-mail [email protected].
